Listening to rock and rap never killed anyone

everyone complaining cause of their listening children

saying, this is a disgrace to our God forsaken nation

my kid is washed up in music and masturbation

sooner or later they'll all be worshiping satan

against our religion and against our own faith and

there music be blaring out sex and profanity

saying all you listen to is Goddamn insanity

well if you ask me, I say that this is crazy

the only reason you don't like it is because your too damn lazy

to sit down pasiently and pay some attention to the meaning of the words

rather than diss the beat and guitar, cause you say thats all I friggin heard

well guess what, you heard wrong

so shut up sit down and sing along

with me and the rest of the fans of this song

and say-

music if our life

from our birth to the day that we die

whether we live on the edge of a knife

just remember that music is your life

Author's Note

This is what we are coming to now a days, parents are complaining because some songs talk about killing somebody, and other songs have satanic meaning. This is a reminder that not all Rock and Rap are about sex, drugs, stealing, cheating, killing, or satan.

Since music has been recorded and listened to by others (actually even before it was recorded) this has been going on. The older generation doesn't understand the newer generation and in time that newer generation will become the old and go through the same process. It is the curse of humanity to repeat the past. A good poem here, but the battle will never be won unfortunately. Kudos to you. Oh, one more thing, "pasiently" is spelled "patiently".

Anyways, killer poem. I feel like i can start a serious protest against the government with this. I love it! Very intense emotions. I love you just tell the person to basically get over it and deal with it.
