Communicate

Communicate

A Poem by donny ingraham

Meet me halfway
If we don't communicate
There is nothing left to say
If we work it out
The blows will never stop
I won't know what we're fighting about
Some things you gotta understand
I'm only one man
Doing all that I can
Just to see a smile upon your face
I work my fingers to the bone
Just for us to live in a fancy place
Material things don't mean much to me
By the way I dress
You can see
Things don't define me
