Reborn

Reborn

A Poem by donny ingraham

Rising from the ashes
The phoenix reborn
Rising above all mistakes made
Those that taunt me
Will learn the lesson of karma
The fire set
Captures those that set it
Beware enemies
I have survived worst
Crushed and bruised
Ill treated and used
Yet, from the ashes
I rise
Shaking free from the chains of oppression
Tearing down all the walls before me
Spreading my wings
Prepared for flight
