abusive relationship perhaps the core subject? not widely experienced truly, but widely known, and always a varying experience from victim to victim, perhaps exaggerated in every one. the pain though experienced, is one that should be relative to everyone, for pain is an experience every being lives to see. an emotional scar can be taught to become equal to that of a person who has only felt physical pain, it is a job of a poet to teach, relate, and feel that emotional pain to that of the man who has only felt physical.
you're poetry is quite excellent, I find myself to be a fan, perhaps you would dwell into using more metaphorical, personification, and other types of writing.. using imagery to be relative to emotional concepts is a talent you very much have a accomplished at being well adept at, perhaps a training or attempt in other areas is my only occurring thought to be contemplated.
I'm a 36 year old writer and poet. Possessing a scarred past, but not allowing it to take me down. I have written two books of poetry and write at any given moment to express myself.
