Lonely

Lonely

A Poem by donny ingraham
"

I written this poem after my love walked out on me for another

"

I have fallen from grace

my faith is ashes

scattered to the wind

My body lies broken

only to match my heart

the rain washes my blood away

All can see me

nobody notices the pain

the sky is grey, matching my feelings

Words of kindness is lost

bitterness remains upon my lips

on comers beware

Within my eyes

there is an emptiness

no longer the windows to my soul

Love is gone

its vaction left me cold

my heat is open for rent

Tentants desire a larger space

bigger pockets

ones to sleep in

I know the feeling all too well. Good job on capturing the feeling by the way, it always makes for a fabulous poem when you put all your feelings out there for everyone on WC to see. This is a beautiful poem that has horrible feelings behind it.
