Feathers of Faith

Feathers of Faith

A Poem by donny ingraham

  Stepping out on faith

spreading my wings

hoping to fly

So tried of being in a dream

hoping to live the dream

instead of being in one

  My faith is a tightrope

balance is what keeps me

rescue me

The wind won't hold these wings

they pluck my feathers

hoping to ground me

  Stepping out on faith

hoping to believe

there is more for me

Yes, there is.
I believe in this belief.
I fight severe opposition too.
There are beautiful images in this post.

Faith and hope is the needed desire in a life. We must believe we can do great things. I like the desire and the hope in this strong poem. Thank you for a positive and excellent poem.
