Deeper than a title someone may bestow My name carries strength This is who I am Never really seeing the potential within me Until the strength within my words gave root Showing meaning upon paper Hoped for song My words are scribed Moments of my life are drawn upon paper My pain visualized That all may know me Break me like bread And partake of my lessons So that healing can begin © 2011 donny ingraham |
