The Truth

The Truth

A Poem by donny ingraham

LIFE HOLDS NO VALUE UNTIL IT’S ABOUT TO BE

EXTINGUISHED LIGHT MEANS NOTHING UNTIL

DARKNESS SETS IN

JOY BECOMES JOY ONLY COMPARED TO PAIN

FAITH ISN’T FAITH UNTIL BEING TESTED

WISDOM SHINES IN THE MIDST OF FOOLS LIFE

TAKES ON AWARENESS IN THE FACE OF DEATH

POWER IS UNDERSTOOD DURING DESTRUCTION

DURING WAR PEACE IS HOPED FOR

SEE LIFE AS IT REALLY IS ACCEPT THE LESSONS

TAUGHT WITHIN THE MIDST OF CONFUSION

THERE IS REASON
