Healthy competitionA Poem by yourstruly
There was once a time
Where jealousy had no where to hide I raised my sword but you didn't To try and kill the ugly emotions Loyalty has a different meaning Mine was to forgive, but yours was to punish What seemed like maturity to me Made you think it was childish disloyalty Who are you to punish others When your friends are your very foes When I have to tell you how much you owe When you can't see that pride got the better of you You think you are selfless in your oh so selfish acts Taking credit for my actions and pretending, it was part of your plan That you put the ingenious idea into my head That the creation of me was your knead You never knew what it meant When people said " it takes 2 hands to clap" I stood a soldier, to fight for you night and day To withstand all that sarcastic comments But my honesty just had to take the chance To run away and find a quiet place To think about all the manipulation, my life was a stage play To find my sense of justice again To be the queen of my own realm You had no idea what it was like to be me You think you figured me out But honey you're only beginning I can show you how conniving My mind can get, if I catch you deceiving Then again I have come to see That I am jealous of you, as you are of me I will ready myself for a battle, on land and in sea To prove that I am better than you can ever be.
