FakeA Poem by The DJA facade of character is revealedAll you see is false. False clothes, eyes, touches, feelings. None Brave enought to speak truth. None strong enough to portray its reality.
You lie to yourself. As though each layer of mascara Will hide your secrets As though each new lie Will conceal your pain.
Yet you've failed yourself. For everyone is realizing your lies. For they have begun to pile And your mask of composure is slipping And the truth is slowly coming to light
And everyone is starting to see That you are nothing more Than a Fake © 2008 The DJReviews
