Moving on?

Moving on?

A Poem by d.m.vargas
"

When people can let go of one's past and can't see the change one's made.

"

I’m soaring through this life, dealing with my struggles.

Working on improving and not self-loathing.

I did it. You may not see it, since you're in visioning the old me.

You don’t consider, the change in me.

It’s fine. You keep believing that you know me that people don’t change.

I pity you. For being stuck in your ways. It just goes to show that you still haven’t changed.

You live in the past, keeping people down. You try to take one’s confidence, so you would be sought after.

Let me be the first to tell you, you met your match. Your words may hurt, making me think twice of who I am.

The realization is that I accepted the person I was and more importantly I accepted the person I’ve become.

So, look at me, judge me, hate me, tell the stories that you think may haunt me.

I’ll look at you and say it’s true. Finally, are we done? so, we can move on.
