Take your time. Don't rush a relationship.

 We stroll hand and hand

On the road of love

But me, and him, and both of us

We don't know what's planned

Others, they go speeding by

Urging us to follow

We go at our own steady pace

But our hearts take wing and fly

The two of us, we walk and talk

About what lies ahead

Stop signs, speed bumps, and forks in the road

Together hand and hand we walk

We will take on what comes

This poem attempts to reflect a point of view of two people in a relationship, overcoming the troubles that may come along.
