The DarkA Poem by PrometheusChildish poem about the dark
Night does arrive on gossamer wings.
Darkness conceals woes daylight brings!
Fears of reality are traded in stead For the dreams and hopes inside of your head.
Those who fear the dark never know The liberation from life darkness bestows!
Monster and demons don't dwell in the night They walk among us in broad daylight!
In darkness of the womb we were conceived, So, it is a part of us to receive.
Our troubles start when as a baby we are brought to the light, But our true nature is revealed when we shut our eyes tight! If you are wise, and truly enlightened Seek refuge in the shadows, it isn't that frightening! Welcome the darkness of night, like and old friend, And dream sweet dreams until the sun daylight sends.
