Spring has flung

Spring has flung

A Poem by D. Mansfield

The merry-go-round spun too fast and flung me off. Mouthful of playground dirt, for good measure
Scabs on both knees

That's OK, I got up and dusted myself off,
I can buy new jeans
At least when I fell it was 70, without a breeze.

Not going to get on that ride anymore,
No, I've had enough.
Too many scoops of the s**t life deals.
I'm hard enough to handle. So I will just take a nap.

Darling, this reminds me when some mean boys were pushing us HARD round on the merry go round and my sister couldn't hold on any longer. Not only did she fall off, she fell under it. She was ripped all over.
S**t happens to everybody, babe.
I liked this a lot. You are a good storyteller. Sorry about the bad parts.
