Pigs fly

Had a chance to make a difference, but not today.
Jimmy to the Doctor, may need braces they say .

Had a chance to make a difference, had to go to work.
Didn't do laundry, wearing a dirty shirt.


Had a chance to make a difference, but I was out of town.
Had to run by the cleaners, pick up Sally's gown.

Had a chance to make a difference,
But my friends say not.
Your name will be in the paper in great big font.

Could've been a catalyst, but want sure how to spell it.
Any reasonable person would be able to sell it.
So I guess
Next time I see evil.I will bury my head
deep in the sand are you ashamed of me yet?

Just keep talking about it.It will change.
not until Pigs fly, are you insane?

I prefer to be involved, I will drive out of my way to help a stranded motorist ir a walker. On Christmas morning1 I always go for a ride really early in the morning and find people at bus stops and all kinds of crazy situations that they are desperately trying to get somewhere and I give people rides. I didn't.
Invent it but it makes you feel better and i'm all for feeling better

Just the title made me think of Amityville....
but I saw what you said about change...if only we could...again, it is good when poems are universal enough for each individual reader to take something from them.

Like to do little things, help folk with stuff, pick up folk walking in the pouring rain, pay the difference when kids in front of me in a shop queue don't have enough wedge.
