Pancakes

Pancakes

A Poem by D. Mansfield
"

Blah, blah, blah

"
Skies are turbulent, fluffy and gray,
Threatening snow, on what started
out, a very pleasant day.

Clouds so low, you could touch the bottom,
Knowing in my heart, now this isn't Autumn.

Winter has unleashed, its manic side.
She expresses herself with flakes
Icing the roads, now hitting her stride.

Blowing snow, as thick as pancakes,
A short stack, of snow, piled up on the ground.
Soon winters syrup, will be poured all around.
