Life goes by all too quickly. When we are young, the days ahead seem never ending and we cram so much in. Then before you know it, life has flashed by. I hope by then there are plenty of memories stored in the memory bank so we can slow down and take our time reflecting on past happy and past people lost to us. There is a sadness here DM, of sand running through that timer all too quickly. A lovely little read, poignant and reflective.
this was so well-spoken. it feels like talking to a wise old sage. i used to be 'everything has to be done yesterday' type of guy. i try to take it slow, although people still point out how im overly efficient. i still have a lot to learn. my gears are running with too much heat and wearing out fast.
i really liked this. it not only has a great message, but it's written in such a way that is memorable. i think i will revisit this work at a later date.

Time goes by quickly when you having fun....so, keep some for when you age, then life slows down, counting the minutes, maybe needing a few more...friends pass and loneliness sets in....
A very true comment, and sad as well,....nicely written
Warmly, B
Strong and wise words shared Mansfield. In a world. Where we waste everything. Maybe we need to save something? Old world believed in saving for a rainy day. New world. Spend everything and hope for more. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.

That extra time could brighten or save a moment of pleasure, leisure - or something or someone to treasure rather than worry 'bout the negative.
