Both places

Both places

A Poem by D. Mansfield

Time is recalculated, as we whip around the sun.
Walking faster and faster, finally, trying to run.

Millions of us, sharing all the same spaces,
With different dimensions, but your always in two places.

Every outcome, is played out in a different dimension
The possibilities endless, too many to mention.

With a leg in each world, the sounds collide,
you straddle two worlds, but you haven't died.

Lost in the chaos of it, should you sound the alarm?
No, you will just wait, what could be the harm?

This new faster, warped speed, ages us quicker,
We have less patience, society becomes stricter.

Like being sentenced, to a life, all alone,
You face each day, with no one to phone.

It seems the conclusion, is getting near,
I love you dearly, just to be clear.
