Spring Explosions

Spring Explosions

A Poem by D. Mansfield

Spring has sauntered in.
With its earthy smells
Explosions of color
From hidden artillery shells.

Stunning beauty popping up
And fragrant smells abound.
Birds chirping, and the sounds of work
As I drive myself to town.

Hard to focus on the beauty of spring there is so much conflict and suffering elsewhere. We must count our blessings though. Nicely penned.
