Illusions

Illusions

A Poem by Dimitris P. Kraniotis

Noiseless wrinkles

on our forehead

the frontiers of history,

shed oblique glances

at Homer’s verses.

Illusions

full of guilt

redeem

wounded whispers

that became echoes

in lighted caves

of the fools and the innocent.
