Crystalline

Crystalline

A Poem by Paul A. Lyons

Not the life I live,

Within each toc,

Nor the ending near,

Or eternal love

The sound of nature

Within this flock

The Urban nature

Of daily Stock

Must I say?

I would not have it any other way.

The real freedom

The beauty and might

Is all forgotten

By me and these mites

Prevail the human nature

To freely adapt,

The Consensus thinking union

It’s all but a daily trap.

And still is not,

The pressure, heat surrounding

Binds us

Into a distinct rock
