What Lies deep Inside

What truly lies within you. How do you feel, what do you long for.

To have the power,

and to have the pride,

to know what lies deep inside,

to wish for wistful things in your life.

 

For there is power in death,

and in life,

for which we strive for,

with some device.

 

Do we do it for merit or for pride,

Or merely just to hide,

from what is deep inside,

before we have to comply.

 

For once the pact is broken,

we have to turn tail and ride,

far away to someplace,

where a relevant life lies inside.

 

Does death have the meaning,

that we desire,

that lust for power,

that we long for inside.

 

But then what one feels,

is not the desire of another,

but the faith to live,

alongside the other.

 

This feeling of serenity,

that you maintain,

where your true virtue,

is the supreme power that reigns.

 

The power of good,

that dominates evil,

with the power to wash away,

all that pain and what is deceitful.

 

To purify the soul,

and make it righteous to behold,

as in the times of old,

left to behold.

 

Can you determine,

the right of passage,

where one may go,

while the other loses their soul.

 

But once a life is lived,

it can never be repeated,

to corrected the errors,

that were never completed.

 

Surely there is cause,

to reconsider what has gone wrong,

and to go notice never to go on,

in the journey that went so wrong.

 

From the feelings left inside,

and the sudden loss of pride,

leaving you with that hollow feeling,

left in the pit of your former pride.

 

Still you move on,

to recover the loss,

you feel inside,

and the coldness left to hide.

 

But with work and study,

you may replace it,

with the milk and honey,

of human kindness.

 

To rise up again,

and embrace the love,

of heaven once more,

then to soar up to the heavens for sure.
