The Veil of Night

The Veil of Night

A Poem by Donald
"

Here is something fanciful to read. I hope you like it. It is what dreams are made of.

"

Starry night,

is a beautiful sight,

dare it may,

believe what you might.

This is a time,

to dream at night,

to see what may,

of what to dream tonight.

To lay below,

this starry sky,

to be what may,

in the moonlight.

Heaven’s masterpiece,

is in the night’s sky,

for all to see,

makes you jump in ecstasy.

Stars light up the night’s sky,

and then sit back,

to watch,

the stars in flight.

Starry night,

starry sight,

to wonder what may,

lie in the night sky tonight.

Take care of what walks in the night,

for it is also a time for fairies,

in the darkness,

in the moonlight.

Mythical creatures,

wander the forest,

in the middle of the night,

to wander and play away from the day.

In the rays of the silver moonlight,

unicorns and fairies play,

and dance the night away,

under the starry sky.

Try as you might,

to see them in the starry night,

for if they see you,

they take flight.

Myriad of creatures play,

in the forest,

away from the day.

in the middle of the night.

So you best be quick,

to catch a glimpse,

of some pixies,

or fairies playing in the dark of the night.
