intricate movement,

makes up the motions,

of modern dance.

 

The geometry of dance,

forms many new ways,

to express emotion,

and so many take place.

 

Moving smoothly on the dance floor,

Travelling across on flying feet,

Express the way,

That you feel.

 

Interacting with your partner,

and moving in sync,

along with the flow of the music,

as you dance across the floor.

 

Motion upon emotion,

affecting us in many ways,

as we glide across the dance floor,

leaving life in a haze.

 

Circling and spinning,

ln ever-changing patterns,

as we move across the dance floor,

with the grace of flying.

 

We dance together,

holding each other tightly,

as we move across the shining floor,

spinning and moving in a sea of stars.

 

Tripping and falling,

are not part of the plan,

as our emotions lead us,

to a faraway lands.

 

For dance is a language,

expressed with heart and soul,

as we move across the floor,

letting all know.

 

The true source,

of dance is felt,

mot heard,

in the melody of the music.

 

For it comes from,

the beating of our two hearts,

that are heard from the start,

of this complex dance we make.
