Beauty in the Eyes of the Beholder

Beauty in the Eyes of the Beholder

A Poem by Donald
"

This is a poem I wrote for the woman I love. I felt not to share it was an injustice. For it is a declaration of my love for her and all have a right to know how I truly feel for my true love.

"

Does a blind man see,

the beauty of someone's face,

or does he hear it in the voice,

in the tone or in the moment.

One does not have to see the beauty,

or hear it in her voice,

but from the actions,

that she takes.

For true beauty,

comes from with the heart,

from within the soul,

and it is felt by all in her presence.

True beauty,

comes from deeds,

or acts of kindness,

not from the appearance.

For I know true beauty,

and I adore her,

not just because she is beautiful on the outside,

because she is beautiful on the inside.

She is kind and generous,

compassionate and patient,

loving beyond all doubt,

someone I could love forever.

She is someone I could love forever,

and be total free,

free to soar into the sky,

and see things as they truly are.

She is the angel in my life,

and sees the true me,

not what others see,

and she understands me.

I long to spend,

the rest of my life,

with her,

and want for nothing.

To see her smile,

and to feel her lips on mine,

to looking into her eyes,

and perhaps glimpse her soul.

I could lose myself,

in those beautiful eyes,

so mysterious and provocative,

and desirable most of all.

For she truly has those eyes,

to look into,

the beauty in the eyes of the beholder,

is something that I desire most of all.

One day she will be mine,

forever and beyond,

in the bonds of wedded bliss,

to live together as man and wife.

To truly know her is to love her,

with no reservations,

with no doubts,

and unconditionally.

Author's Note

Donald
If you have someone that you truly love. I am sharing this one piece, just remember that I wrote this for my love and please mention to her. Also, don't alter it in any way, or I will find you and rip it from your heart. It is the way it was meant to be.
