Love of my Life

Have you met the love of your life. Someone you wanted to spend your life with. A true love can haunt you with visions of her everywhere. True love is bliss and something to be treasured.

You are the one,

who resides in my heart,

haunts my soul,

and lift my spirit,

 

Every day we speak,

every day we laugh,

every day we love.

every day we enjoy life.

 

For this is not a causal relationship,

this is the love of our lives,

someone I long for,

someone to spend my life with.

 

For this is someone not to be trifled with,

for she is my one and only true love,

not some casual detraction for the night,

but the one I want to be with forever.

 

Once I am in her company,

I lose track of time itself,

it no longer matters,

over the thought of being with her.

 

A moment with her,

 is like an eternity of bliss,

and bliss is the gift from God himself,

not to be abused and mistreated.

 

What you do if given the same opportunity,

would you not take it,

and accept it for what it is,

not for what it represents.

 

It is a commitment,

to an eternal relationship,

with another lonely soul,

forever and beyond.

 

Life is full of such choices,

not to be taken lightly,

and not to be merely used and discarded,

like some lost dream.

 

I would give her the passion she deserves,

along with the love I have for her only,

that is the nature of true love,

and commitment to live itself.

 

For she truly is the love of my life,

to be kept safe from harm,

and loved beyond all doubt,

that is the true gift.
