Have you ever been taken by some get rich scheme, but you are the one always losing, the money just disappears. Or you are on a vacation and a beautiful woman asks you for a favor then vanishes.

Incredible schemes,

tangled plots,

were second nature,

for a devilish lot.

 

Schemes of wealth,

plans of dreams,

are the arsenal,

for a confidence scheme.

 

Also someone to trick,

and someone to lose,

for that is their game,

who do you choose.

 

No one to chase,

no one to rule,

for the rules are simple,

they win and you lose.

 

The law may try,

to trip them up,

but they are too smart,

and they have luck.

 

Some are young,

and some are old,

for some are hot,

while others are cold.

 

They plan and scheme,

scheme and plan,

for their living may walk in,

hand in hand.

 

They will steal you blind,

and begin again,

to take someone else,

for that is their plan.

 

However,

nothing lasts forever,

and then it ends,

with them in jail for ever and ever.

 

The can see you coming,

and you can see them going,

but you never can see them,

acting most holy.

 

Crimes again man,

are crimes against God,

to them neither are different,

and nothing is so holy.

 

The steal from the rich,

they steal from the poor,

to them is no distinction,

between them and their goal.

 

For confidence men, are the vilest kind,

of criminals alive,

for they have no morals,

and live secret lives.

 

For the former owner do not pay,

because they in turn have found a way,

to make the poor pay and pay,

for anything that they have lost that day.

 

They jack up the prices to cover their loss

to make the public pay for the cost,

of being righteous,

and being the boss.

 

So beware my friend,

someone is out there,

scheming,

to get you in the end.
