Words of loveA Poem by DonaldWhen you are with someone you love, are there some words that have certain meanings to you. Or are you the type of person that goes through the motions with no thought or effort.Words are just meaningless, if there is no love behind them, for they are merely empty, and have no meaning.
What good is passion, if the emotion is not there to carry it through, for it is just a wasted effort, without the emotion of love behind it.
What of forever, another wasted word, for an eternity without love, is a damnation unto itself.
Love is nothing, but just a word, without the passion needed, to bring it come to life.
Joy is another useless word, for it is a hallow word, without the pleasure, derived from it.
Desire is the cruelest of all, for it comes from the heart, and drives us to madness without love, to bring us from the edge.
Surely, all these words have context, when used properly, with liberal sprinklings of love, and kindness.
Without love, they are hateful words, and seek to destroy, the very soul they inhabit.
When love is bought and sold, like a commodity, all words lose their meaning, and the emotions behind them.
For them to have any meaning at all, love is given freely, and willingly to the right person, and bring them back into perspective.
For love is the true emotion, for it is not bound to one, but to us all, to be shared when the time it right.
Love is the cure for all life’s ills, for it moves back into the grace, of all our families, and free us all. © 2014 DonaldAuthor's Note
