Sex

Sex

A Poem by Donald
"

Is sex constantly on your mind. Is it something that you cannot live without. It is a biological drive to procreate and spread forth. But it is also more than that.

"

Sex

Mind blowing,

life altering,

orgasmic,

sex.

We crave it,

we need it to survive,

we lust for it,

we long for love in the worst way.

A simple biological function,

for the creation of new life,

but it drives us insane,

in the quest to find it.

We search for the perfect mate,

to love for all time,

to give us what is needed,

to propel us through life.

We seek it in bars,

we track it down online,

we lust for it on the street,

for it rules our lives.

Sex is the ultimate goal,

it is the ultimate desire,

to find that perfect love,

to fulfill our desires.

Love springs from our loins,

jumping on each other,

like some sex crazed animal,

 on the hunt for love.

The hunt continues,

seeking the love it needs to survive,

like some wild animal,

cornered by love.

The hunt will soon end,

when the need is fulfilled,

and the desire sated,

within the thighs of  another.

Love is madness,

it is driven by desire,

to find that special one,

and to love them forever.

The rage grows within,

for the hunt never ends,

and search continues,

to find true love desire.

For love is power,

over one soul,

to give them pleasure,

and make them whole.

It is an endless cycle,

of the hunt and making love,

for once it is done,

 and starts over again.

Constantly searching,

constantly seeking,

for the ultimate pleasure,

for that ultimate love.

Life altering,

mind blowing,

orgasmic,

sex.

It certainly is, Donald! I find it ironic that sex is such a basic fact of life, and yet so many of us are afraid of it, offended by it, or just plain hate it.

What I love about your poem is that it more or less spells it all out (without being "offensive" or explicit), and says what many of us are afraid to say. I enjoyed reading this, because it's basically just common sense.

Now, I don't necessarily believe that it's the "ultimate goal" (although some would disagree with me on that), but it is very much a part of life, and if it were up to me, we would treat it with more reverence instead of running away from it. But that's just me - maybe I'm strange that way?
