Creation or Evolution

Creation or Evolution

A Poem by Donald
"

Are you a true believer or do you believe is evolution. If the real truth were revealed, you may find that both may be true.

"

What manner of creation do you follow?

Is it the creation of all things in life,

By all powerful God,

or did everyone in nature evolve to where it is now.

Both may be true or neither is,

if you examine both points of view.

True believers think that God created,

all life five thousand years ago,

but why create the illusion of dinosaurs.

Surely,

God is not trying to deceive us.

If you were to examine evolution,

how would you explain the teachings,

of Jesus Christ,

and all the events in the bible.

Neither conclusion can explain the truth,

what if the truth lies somewhere in between.

Maybe evolution had some divine help,

some guidance in its direction.

Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.

No one can explain adequately either,

for all the events in history.

If we all had faith in what was real,

Then all this explanation would not be necessary.

But man is a very curious creature,

he is always asking questions,

about things beyond his comprehension,

and questioning all his beliefs.

Truth is not easily found,

and the layers of time must be peeled away.

To reveal what is truly real,

and what is hidden from plain sight.

Perhaps it was God’s will,

that we discover the truth on our own,

to prove that mankind is worthy,

to claim this world on which we stand.

And the universe lies before us,

and worlds to discover are soon at hand.

I am certainly on the same page. If there is a God he most likely finished his work millions of years ago and sat back and waited for us to appear and is now watching what will we will do. He is probably a pragmatist
and pretty much given up on us, for we have been behaving poorly for thousands of years. The universe is indeed right before us , will we have the wisdom to seek GOD?
I have writing on similar themes, i.e." Ant farm", "Seeking the archer", "Sign of Peace": please check them out , if you have time and thank you for contributing to the Open Mind Consortium. Your poem is prescient.

I am going to think that the dinos were the first. ones who failed and we were the next.
I know this may sound like quite wild, but is you examine all artifacts found, there is evidence of both.
