Heart of Evil

Does evil truly in a physical form, or is it just an illness to be cured. Some people appear to be perfect model citizens, but in truth, they are a vile creature, hiding in plain sight.

What secrets lie within a dark heart,

a heart of evil intent,

someone who lives for their self,

and cares little for anyone else.

Do they have dreams and desires,

do they have a conscious.

One may wonder of such things,

But wonder will never understand,

what their motives in life are.

For their minds are of evil intent,

they live for chaos and fear,

and to fill their pockets with their ill-gotten gains.

Some may taut and brag,

while others hide in the shadows,

and jump out to strike fear and pain in the innocence.

Few welcome the challenge of the law,

and laugh when they fail,

but sooner later some will fall,

and wind up in jail.

Even there the evil still spreads,

for the process of imprisonment,

does not destroy that lust and desire,

that lives deep in their black souls.

Once they are released,

Some may return to their old ways.
