To Go Against the World

To Go Against the World

A Poem by Donald
"

Did you ever feel like the world was against you. Or you felt like standing up for a cause or a person that some injustice had been done against.

"

To go against the world,

means to go against tradition,

to go against everything you have learned,

and everything you believe.

It may be a hopeless battle,

against insurmountable odds,

with little chance of success.

But yet you must try,

and beat the odds,

 to take a chance.

Don Quixote,

tried to right the wrongs,

for the sake of love,

but in the end,

he lost it all.

His love,

his quest,

and his pride.

For he went against a powerful foe,

with no regard to him.

Martin Luther King Jr.,

had a dream that became a reality,

of equal rights for all.

This shows that anything is possible with enough desire,

and enough determination.
