Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness

A Poem by Donald
"

This is an explanation of love.

"

How much is love worth?

How much is life worth?

Would you be willing to give up your life for love?

These questions plague mankind,

they are on the minds of many,

for they are willing to give up all,

in the name of love.

What good is liberty if love is lost.

For liberty without love is nothing,

without love in your life,

there is pain and loneliness.

What of happiness,

there can be no happiness without love.

There is no joy without love.

The common factor to all is love.

Love is the glue that makes life possible,

to have the liberty to love who you want,

and to love wherever you want.

Love makes liberty worth having,

And love make life worth living,

plus happiness is possible with love.

Life,

liberty,

and happiness,

are possible with love in your life.

Your thoughts flow beautifully. I enjoyed the poem very much. Nowadays most questions in poetry are rhetorical and it was a nice surprise that you answered the questions, but not very directly. haha sorry if this doesn't make much sense.
