Love: The Four Letter Word

What do you think that the word love means. Does it bring up fond memories of loved ones and family. Or does it bring up darker ones and feelings of lust.

To some love is a distraction,

while others consider that it is ecstasy.

It is both understood and misunderstood at the same time,

 just as love has a light side and a dark.

True love is bliss and light,

while it’s dark side is obsession and lust.

The true intent of love is not darkness,

it is of light and to be caressed like that of a lover,

it is to be worshiped and honored.

Not be blinded like a blight or used then discarded,

when it is no longer needed.

For love is not a cruel joke to be played on someone,

but embraced and allowed to grow to its full potential.

Some use love to inflame the passion of their hearts.

While others allow it to touch their soul with it bliss.

For true love is a blessing and a joy to the heart and soul.

It is the union of two hearts and minds into one being of innocence,

and one made of love.

It is a touch from God himself on this world.

For the devil has no boundary on this realm.

And love can last forever between two pure souls,

beyond their mortal span,

into the life beyond and then the next,

 onward in the future.

For love is eternal like the heavens above.
