Winter Wonderland

This a description of Michigan during winter time. It is a place of snow covered fun for all ages.

 

Winter Wonderland

Rosy red cheeks,

cold air is nipping at your nose.

The snow lies white on the ground.

Look of joy on their faces.

Sliding down the hills.

Snow flying through the air.

Riding snowmobile through the countryside.

Screaming with delight.

Skiing down the snowy slope,

or snowboarding on the snow covered mountain.

For this is the winter wonderland.

A place to play and dream,

of the Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Bundled up to keep warm,

mittens keep hands warm and safe.

Playing in the snow,

making snowmen from the freshly fallen snow.

Laughter fills the air.

Sunshine brightens the landscape,

until nightfall comes.

Fireplaces roaring to keep them warm.

Drinking eggnog and spreading Christmas Joy

Kissing under the sprig of mistletoe.

That is the joy of Winter Season in Michigan.
