A Dream Realized

This is the realization of a dream that I have. It seemed to have started so long ago and now it is coming true.

Soon she comes.

Into my life.

A vision of beauty that I long desired.

It seems a lifetime since we met.

On-line meetings are all we had.

Occasional photos have been exchanged.

But this does not beat a meeting in the flesh.

The chance to feel.

The chance to kiss.

With all of the passion of a lifetime of dreaming.

Yet she was a dream,

that was long unfulfilled.

But she is a dream realized in front of me.

Her graceful shape stands before me.

She runs to me,

with a look of love in her beautiful eyes.

We embrace for the first time,

but not our last.

It feels like I have known her forever.

But this is our first meeting in true life and time.

Strong desires empower my soul.

The longing is there for all to know.

She is my love, my heart’s desire.

She is the one thing from which can inspire.

Now we live from moment to moment,

Until that appointed hour.

The time that our love,

will be realized once and then forever.

In our heart’s desire.

We shall be wed in the morrow.

An exchange of rings, of vows, and a kiss,

to seal our fates into one beating heart.

Then she is mine and I am hers.

To live together, in peace, love, and life’s bliss.
