I Do

What impact does these two little words have on a relationship. Is the legal requirement for a union, or a pact between two people. If you understand the meaning of them. Then you have a beginning.

Two simple words.

But they can change the course of two lives.

They are an ending and a beginning.

But they are a start of a good thing.

They are the ending of two lives that turn into one being.

They are a symbol of the union of two people becoming a family.

From that point on they are on a journey of discovery together.

To share each other’s secrets,

to understand each other’s lives.

To share the burden together along with the joy of a new life.

There will be times of trouble and challenges to overcome.

There will also be disagreements, arguments and moments of decision.

These must be endured and overcome for the relationship to evolve to the next level.

Love, hope, compassion, compromise and faith are all part of the equation of life for true happiness to exist.

The next thing to consider is family,

It requires a union of the two to create a new life.

It is a new beginning,

Something new to love and behold.

For without it,

life is a dead end.

This may happen again and then again as the family grows in size and scope.

The family grow more complex and varied.

All types of personalities are formed.

New problems will take shape and these too,

must be solved for the family to grow.

For the family is everything and love is what must be found again.

For the rest of the family it is then their time to face the world  and say those two words.
