World Wide Web

What is the World Wide Web. It allows us to surf the world and bring the world into reach from one's home, without thought or effort. But we must also be wary of where we go and what we do.

This web connects the world. 

It connects people and places.

It connects families.

It connects loved ones.

It connect us with the world.

But what is it really.

It is a means to an end.

It provides the world within easy reach.

But life is not meant to be easy.

Life was meant to be a challenge.

To drive us forward.

Without challenges,

life stagnates and stops.

Progress still continues,

but out of control.

No one to monitor its progress and keep it in check.

Man exceeds his grasp.

A balance must be found with the world and the web.

Challenges must be made.

Hurtles created to make obstacles in our path.

To give us purpose again.

Love is easy to find on the web.

But is it true love or just an illusion.

This makes love safe or does it.

It create predators to feast on the innocent.

To steal any dreams from the unwary.

One must be on guard to prevent this.

What of luxury.

To buy and sell things without much thought.

To lose one’s self in a dream.

Then to have reality crashing down like a nightmare.

The web makes it too easy to happen,

without much thought.

It destroys dreams,

but it can create new dreams.

It makes it possible to reach out and touch someone you had thought impossible.

To actually find true love.

What was once a dream, can become reality.

Only with hope,

can this happen.

Only with love,

will it happen.
