Goddess of Life

Goddess of Life

A Poem by Donald
"

This is a earlier piece that I did. Have you ever been enchanted someone so beautiful that you can not believe it. Would you do anything to get her attention.

"
Till the morrow I will commune with my goddess so fair and beautiful beyond the words to describe her.
So fair and beautiful to rival the even the gods in the heavens.
I truly am captive of her charms and grace and am humbled by her mere presence.
Perhaps one day,
I shall be free of her enchantment,
but if that day were to happen,
it would a great loss in the world and to my free will.
For surely I would go insane from the pain of losing her.
She is my life and my living soul.
For without her I would be a mere ghost of myself,
a shadow of my former existence.
She inspires me to travel to the lofty heights and motivates me to move great mountains of the earth.
I am smitten by her presence on this mortal plain,
she deserves to be with the other gods and goddesses on mighty Olympus.
Not walking among us mere mortals.
I only hope to do her justice in poem.
