Alone in the sea

It basically descriptions being alone in a sea of people in search of true love.

Alone in a sea of people,

never caring,

never seeing. 

Waves of anger wash over your head,

trying to drag you down into the depths and into the darkness. 

Yet, you claw your way back to the surface of the sunshine of the happy ones,

floating carelessly within the turbulent ocean of flesh,

bobbing up and down.

In the distance you spot a light shining and gradually moving toward you.

You begin to swim toward the light to shorten the distance between the two. 

Slowly, you move toward each other.

Still far away,

you can see the joy and happiness  in her eyes.

You can tell that she is different than the rest,

filled of life and caring for another.

Soon they are within each other arms,

embracing and loving. 

She too, saw the same things in your eyes,

moved toward you to find some safety from the rest of the sea.

In the distance,

they spotted an island free of the sea and move to it for rest and freedom.

Laying down on the warm sand,

they soon fall asleep in each other’s arms unto the next day.

I tried to capture the emotions of loneliness an longing. There may be some typos.

I would of liked this separated into stanzas...for reading purposes...but you weave a story of finding love here...in a sea of people...there is a lot going on and somehow during the struggle you find the one that finds you...you meet and find land for comfort from the search and off into the sunset...
