AnxietyA Poem by dkej743the feeling of anxiety Anxiety As deep as the ocean my poor mind tries to swim. Floating on a desperate surface, holding onto life. My stinging ears of water, my heart with fright. Anxiety fills up in my crowded lungs. My feet moving faster, while I remain still. Numbness takes over from the chilling ices. How did I get here? When will it stop? Pampered souls, sweating for survival. Finally darkness surrenders as weakness takes it’s last breath. I close my eyes and I sink. © 2012 dkej743Reviews
