Holding on

Holding on

A Poem by dkej743
"

About how God holds us through every obsticule we come acress even when we want to give up

"

When  you  think  that  the  walls  are  much  too  high  to  climb,  they  break.

When  you  feel  you  can’t  hold  on  any  longer,  God  lifts  you.

When  the  blistered  cheeks  of  crying  began  to  disappear,  you  smile.

When  you  wake  up  and  notice  your  hearts  not  bleeding  anymore,  you’re  grateful.

When  you  began  to  give  up  you  notice,  their  might  be  hope.

When  your  foot  is  out  the  door,  God  refuses  to  let  you  go.

When  goodbye  seems  like  it’s  the  only  thing  left  to  say,  suddenly  you  notice, your  gripe  isn’t  all  that  weak.  So  you  hold  on  just  a  little  longer

deep and from the heart, I also enjoyed this one, I like the line "When your foot is out the door, God refuses to let you go", it's a hopeful message and inspiring to those who believe.
