Poem 2-34

Poem 2-34

A Poem by Keith

there you stood

ambiguity on your sleeve

eleven years of lethargy

embraced with a minstrel's rhyme

a quarrel of quavers

hanging from a hip forgiven

toying along cupid's strings

a lyre guilded with golden dreams

a line read instead

disparity of times alive

beckoning of sirens ring

equanimity and just redeem

rumblings of hunger

coterminous and parse inflect

lying eyes rebuttal sigh

introductions made yet another time
