Clean Up

Clean Up

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

Just a rhyme that wandered through my mind as I watched the woman from housekeeping sweep my hospital room.

"

Clean Up

Sweep the floor; sweep it clean;

Sweep up all the dust;

Mop the floor; mop it clean;

Wash it well you must.

Brush the hearth; brush it clean;

Brush up all the coal;

Clean the house; make it clean;

A clean home your goal.
