Betsy and Bart

Betsy and Bart

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

Just a silly rhyme that wandered into my head.

"

Betsy and Bart

Bitsy Betsy Waterloo

Batted her eyes at Bartholomew;

When Barty ask’d her to dance,

She leapt at the chance,

And he twirl’d her ‘round all the night through.

Initial reactions and constructive criticism welcome. I really just wanted an excuse to use "Bartholomew." I don't know why.
