After Hair Washing

After Hair Washing

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

A poem about my cat. He likes to groom me after a shower. It's sweet when he does.

"

After Hair Washing

The kitten purrs,

The kitten licks,

The kitten grooms my hair;

My hair is long,

My hair is wet:

He gives up in despair.

Initial reactions and constructive criticism welcome. My 22-pound tomcat actually does this.
