A scrap of nursery rhyme that wandered into my head in the night.
Enough
Onions and cabbages
Cook’d in a stew,
Bread and a bit of meat,
’Nough for us two.

the combination of food makes me hungry sometimes the simple food helps us not to satiate the hunger but also satisfies the soul because what joy to be able to share food with someone whom you love and who loves you in return.

If I try to write "grown-up" poetry, it becomes maudlin and unpleasant, entirely too often. Nursery rhymes wander around my head all the time, and feel natural.
