Peggy Price

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

A scrap of nursery rhyme that drifted into my head in the night.

"

Peggy Price

Peggy Price grew both peas and beans,

And boil’d them in a pot.

She made her porridge thin and green,

And serv’d it piping hot.

Initial reactions and constructive criticism welcome. This is supposed to resemble a traditional nursery rhyme.
