I think it helps that we regularly refer to ourselves as apes, when we imagine what the cats might be thinking about us. The male cat has the frame and carriage of a tiger, and the smaller, female cat has the shape of a lioness. They both enjoy playing pouncing games, and cuddle-and-bite, often with their sharp bits in play.

For a nursery rhyme, the rhyming is fitting. I like the way the cat is called a tiger and the human called a silly ape. Cute little ditty you have here.
