Popsicle

Popsicle

A Poem by Debbie Barry
"

A scrap of verse I wrote in the middle of the night, recalling childhood pleasures. A new nursery rhyme.

"

The ice cream truck!

We'll buy a treat!

Ring-a-ting-ting!

Ring-a-ting-ting!

A popsicle cools

Summer's heat!

Ring-a-ting-ting!

Ring-a-ting-ting!
